Senator Romano moved to amend the bill on page three, section three, line fourteen, after the word "code" by changing the semicolon to a colon and inserting the following proviso: Provided, That notwithstanding any provision of code to the contrary, the board shall request and the Tax Commissioner shall provide confirmation of whether the applicant for issuance of an occupational license has filed a resident tax return for the most recent year without disclosure of any other information.
